Haru, a university student, takes over the unfinished novel left behind by her late middle school best friend, Ame, and finally completes it. One night, filled with regret for not being able to save her friend, she falls asleep. When she wakes up, she finds herself as Cecilia, the protagonist and saint of Ame’s novel For Whom the Saint Lives. Knowing the story, she decides to follow the scenario and ventures outside. However, the supposedly peaceful village is engulfed in flames, and she encounters Leon, a character she was never supposed to meet. From then on, events that weren’t in the novel begin to unfold one after another…
