The Plain of Auvers

In the quiet southern countryside of the Queen Amar Empire, nestled by the sea, lies a small village called Auber. After the war, former soldier Nixie uses her entire fortune to buy a modest home there, determined to enjoy a peaceful life as a farmer.

That’s when she meets Benjamin Richter, a deserter from the rival Jigu Empire and a painter.

“I’ll give you everything I have, 260 gold. Paint me a picture.”
“Didn’t you say yesterday you had 500 gold?”
“Oops, you caught me.”

Nixie, often called crazy or a madwoman, lives up to the name as she relentlessly trails after Benjamin, pestering him at every turn.
